It never fails that every Fall my sewing projects become few and far between. Between work, my family, travel and football season, it gets difficult to find sewing time on the weekends. However, I recently found time for a quick and easy make-it-your-own project for my daughter.

Inside, I’ll share a little more about this easy retail revamp of an Old Navy clearance jacket.

I recently purchased a cute army green hoodie jacket for my daughter on clearance at Old Navy. I bought with the intention of it being her everyday preschool jacket but I wanted to have some flare and character. So I went to my local Hobby Lobby in search of some iron-on patches. My goal was to turn this plain green jacket into something that matched my daughter’s personality.

Very Easy. Simply map out where you want to place the patches and follow the instructions on the packaging. Total iron-on time look less than 5 minutes.

My baby girl loved her new jacket. She was posing and twirling for about 15 minutes before I pretty much had to pry her out of it. I really liked this little project because it was a simple and easy way to revamp a retail item and make it unique.
